JavaScript courses

Postby robwood » Wed Oct 21, 2009 11:05 am

I am looking for a good JavaScript course (for beginners) in the UK (preferably Midlands). Does anyone know of any good quality courses they can recommend?

You may want to look at this video course: http://www.killerjavascript.com/videos/. I haven't personally done this particular course, but way back when I did a general web design course from the same person which was quite good.

Lynda.com may be another good source, though I believe that'll be a bit more expensive.

Try your local colleges / universities. My Dad originally learned VB on a night course at our local college so I would think they run similar courses containing aspects of Javascript

Thanks for the feedback. I think the local colleges/university option is better as I'd like to learn from a real person I can annoy with constant questions. I've tried using online sources and books, but it's never quite clicked with me.
