Welcome to the forum!

Postby Vitaly » Sun Sep 28, 2008 10:10 am

Dear smashing fellows,

thank you for registering in the Smashing Magazine Forum. The main idea behind the forum is to provide our community with a place to discuss problems, developments, ideas and Smashing Magazine articles or just chat about nothing at all.

The forum is now in the beta-testing stage. We want to create it together with you - therefore please feel free to share your ideas, suggestions (design, structure, missing categories etc.) and any problems you've encountered.

Please

- do not publish any data about this forum (we do it by ourselves when the beta-stage is over)
- do not expect too much, the forum exists only a couple of days
- do whatever you think is appropriate - ask questions, answer questions, help fellows designers and developers.

And, most importantly, have fun!

Cheers! ;)

I can see a bright feature for the SM community. Opening this forum was a fantastic idea and I will definitely help/contribute as much as possible. You can count on me =)

Cheers!

Im not sure if this content will be covered in the Graphics section of the forum, but i was wondering if their will be any plans to implement a freebie section on the forum where users can submit links to free content from Code Snippets / Ideas, Grunge Sets to download, Nice fonts to download and stuff. I seen this information under the Graphic Section but maybe having a freebie section will help users pinpoint easier where to find free stuff.

Well, first we need to remove all bugs and create a good structure of the forum. Then we can go live ;-)

awsome job, hope you can solve all bugs and get all the zones right and organized quick.

there's a great community to have talking in the smashing forums, this can turn into a great 'little' spot :)
