I'd really like to have this book because I'm always glad to have something good offline. Also this would be a force for reading an english book ;)

I would love to win a copy of Universal Principles of Design, if only just to discover 100 ways to enhance usability, influence perception, increase appeal, make better design decisions and teach through design!

Hi,

As a young enthusiastic South African designer, I believe this book would help me develop my skills and put me in touch with international ideas around design, thereby helping to raise the standards of graphic design in my country! :)

Thanks,
Vanessa

I'm a programmer and I'm looking into doing more polishing work with regards to the UIs that I create for my applications. I'm also a hobbyist game developer and I am in desperate need of help in the area of good, clean, easy-to-use, invisible game interface design. South Africa has a fledgling indie game community with strong technical development skills, but what use are the engines that drive the games is the interfaces for those games aren't usable?

I think that this book would help me quite a bit.

Thank you.

I'd absolutely like to win this book just because there are so many things about design that I don't know. Always looking to learn someting new.
This would be an interesting read!
Maybe we can talk and not just speak...

I have been working in design for 7 years and have never heard of chunking, baby-face bias or Ockham's razor, so this could be interesting.

Hi,
this book sounds really interesting. I have to improve my skills as interaction designer, so I used to read many articles of your Mag to make practice. Now I can study theory too ;).

Best regards.
