I'd like the book because:

- Doing design for years taught me that that I will never know it all...gotta keep learning.
- It will help me find that happy place where form compliments function
- Because I said please?

The aspects covered in this book are the fun things about Design, and it's hard to find credible material to fill that void of knowledge.

I've been a graphic designer for almost 6 years now. A couple years ago I received my first book on usability design from my manager. The book was called Everyday Design (http://www.amazon.com/Design-Everyday-T ... 907&sr=8-1), This book rocked my design world! It really changed the way I thought about design overall. The Universal Principles of Design looks like a more in-depth read, which is exactly what im looking for!

Having invested time and money to improve my development abilities, I don't currently have the resources to attend pricey User Experience or Usability courses. Thus, formal user-centered design references is one thing I'm missing that makes this a welcome addition to my library.
