Hi everyone, we have a little bit of a problem and hope someone here may be able to help. At the place I work we have photographers who tour to different events around the world. We are trying to speed up the process of getting images to the office for us designers to work with. Ideally we would like to be able to receive images quickly so we can share them while an event is still going on. The procedure now is that the photographer uploads all the images onto a hard drive and sends them via fedex to us. This takes way too long, but because we have so many images it has worked the best for them in the past. I am wondering if you know of any good online services that the photographer could quickly upload to and then we could flip through them say in a gallery of some kind and select the ones we want to download. Usually the number of images per event is between 500 to 1000 at most. Any help would be appreciated.

Perhaps a shared Flickr account? You could use the Flickr Uploader tool (available for both PC and Mac) for the mass uploading. I believe they have a feature where the images aren't visible to the general public, in case that was an issue...

Hi falken....thanks for the response. Flickr was one option I was thinking about although I am not that familiar with it. I will have to investigate a little further.
