Clean Photography Sites

Postby schefz » Mon Jan 26, 2009 6:18 pm

I really enjoy photography portfolio sites that focus on the images. I think its crucial to have the images scalable. I wanted to start a thread of Clean Photography Sites and see what people have seen.

Here's the first for your viewing pleasure:

This is my site...pretty basic but since I built it from scratch in about 45 minutes you can't expect much more....

schefz I have to disagree with your opinion about image scalability in photoportfolios. This is exellent example of picture-focused portfolio site, in which pictures are not scalable:

I will agree that I don't find image scalability so crucial. The site is very nice and if the images didn't scale you could avoid flash, a thing which would have probably made the site faster.
Nicus, there seems to be a problem with your site (the one you have the link, I don't know if its yours). I only see what seems to be one part of the menu (work/ overview, the bridge) and if I resize the window it gets lost.
This is a site I made for a photographer-artist:

not scalable but quite clear.
