I have been very grateful to what i have learned in smashing, but this time we need some design tips, to make our site unique, and we want not to make similar pages as everyone, we are a newspaper in Tijuana Baja California Mexico pls we need some comments because we are programmer not designer and we are two persons that we work on everything in this site. programming & designs.

By the way if you read one of the articles, certain we are proud of what we have done with that, maybe it could help for trend in tools.
Select any article (principal, recent news (ultimas noticias), Destacadas, deportes (news) )
You can : print, send to email, change text size, share social network (bottom on the article) as everyone
but this is what make us different, although many has been doing too we can translate the article, but this not the end we can share the article by cellphone too and you can hear the article (bottom of the article "ESCUCHAR NOTICIA") and is very helpful in our iphone version of our site,

Ok, I took a look.
It's a bit difficult for me, because I don't understand a word;-)

I have a problem in Safari 4.0.3:
Only the upper half of the navigation works. So it's a bit difficult to follow the links.

In the Container on the right side, where "Mas leidas" and "Mas commentadas" is written, the hover-color on the link is unfavorable. It is blue text on blue background.

The frist fact, I realized was, that you use different backgrounds for the divs. Or better say: Sometimes you use one, sometimes not, sometimes with borders, sometimes without...
It is a little bit inconsistent...

But all in all, I like the design:-)

yep i have visit http://validator.w3.org/ ?
but as we use hacks, theres a lot but we need to optimize our css,
and yeah we use round corners sometimes not, is because we are making change
but we need a little help from you.
Hope to have more comments to help us to improve our site in design, structure.

Don't forget to check the tools we have for our articles and our video section.

For the main page, I would make the logo a bit more prominent, as it is easily missed due to the ads.
I would also remove the shadow effect around the ads (on the right hand side), as they are already promienet, and so do not need emphasizing with a shadow.
