Below is the logo I'm working on. It's for a alumni conservation activity. This logo conveys the meaning of both conversation (2 dialog) and alumni (the 2 dialog and the negative space between them makeup a pair of glass, which represents knowledge and experience that the alumni have).

Now the problem is, maybe your guys already see, this logo seems to be over company-like. Since the alumni conservation activity is more non-commercial, how can I change the feel of this logo to "activity"?

My English is not very well, maybe the phrase "alumni dialog" is not correct. Sorry for that. Thanks your guys!
