Hey guys,
I own a site that hes kinda like http://www.vg247.com, http://www.Joystiq.com and stuff like that. the site is on gaming all the new news about all must all the consoles.
here is the site, http://www.fanboy.co.il, hes in hebrew. the theme that im using in the site is free and im only going to change the theme(somthing that i will design) when i will make a logo that i will be satisfied from him.

for now I made only 2 versions,

The first logo looks like "favboy" -- the "n" isn't clear. The second logo is more easily recognizable, but I would say that using the power icon for tech related sites is pretty unoriginal/cliché.

I think the second one works way better and it much more professional. I don't mind the power symbol but if this is a site about gaming I might use something else like a target (I know, not very original either). There has to be something from the game world you can use in it's place.

If you keep the power symbol I would jazz it up a bit with some gradients. Do a few Illustrator tutorials on how to make glossy buttons and you will see what I mean.

Also, make sure the letter 'f' and 'a' aren't touching. Right now they are and it looks a little sloppy.

first off all i have to say, that your 2nd logo is much better than the 1st.

in my opinion it would be better if the powersign isnt so big. i think i would be better if its more integrated to the ascender and descender letter.

otherwise i'd prefer to melt the powersign and the y. so you got the o (as powersign) and the y as one letter.

hope you could embark upon with that.
