hey all,

this is my first time ever trying out a forum for constructive criticism so I'm quite excited to try this. I'm working this logo for this organic/vegan food company, and the client hasn't given me any detail on how they want to be represented so I'm pretty much forced to wing it. I was really trying to go with that natural organic hand drawn feel with this. I would really appreciate an outsiders look. thank you.

My impression is that there may be too much going on. I would stick with one element -- just one leaf -- rather than two leaves and two filled in centers ("p" and "e"). I think it would be less distracting. Remember that the blue outline around the leaf in the "o" will not resize very well. Make sure the logo will look good at small sizes.

I'm not a fan of that font at all... it feels unprofessional. The weights between letters seem off, and I'm not sure if they go together. It almost seems like the "o" and "p" are in caps and the other two are in lower case.

I do like the ribbon effect for the tagline -- that should stay. Not sure if I like the hearts in the "i"s (again, another distracting element) but I like the feel of that font.

thankx for the input, it was much needed and considered. I had been telling myself for a month now that I'd re-work this design, so it's a good thing that I came here first. here's a revision, how do yall feel about this one?

I think the type treatment for this is works much better, but I agree with falken. I liked the ribbon as well but felt it should be more free flowing like the logo itself. The revised looks great as is, except the tagline could be pushed / tweaked a liitle more, meaning maybe you could incorporate the free flowing ribbon with your new type treatment. Maybe. It might be too much though, I am a fan of less is more. I would need to see it to judge it.
