I am new to graphic design so please comment my logo design, it is used for my personal website. (gdesign)

Nice logo, I like this.

It is a nice idea, but the first time I saw the logo I didn't notice the g and the d. The first thing I noticed was a something that looks like a music note. I'm thinking it may look nicer with only the gd in a color without the orange circle.

I like the logo but it's the sort of logo you look at and think "what...ohhh i see", try and make certain parts of it more stand-out-ish, that way people won't turn away.

I love the design though, just thought i'd give some UX advice
