Hi people! I've just launched http://www.tutorialmagazine.com, a showcase of the very best in photoshop, illustrator and flash tutorials. I'm only going to show great tutorials, so I'm wondering what people's favorite tutorial sites are? I'm looking for tutorials that are well written, useful and original.

still small, but they have very nice tuts

Yeah, nettuts is great, it's part of the envato network, they have all of the *tuts sites
Are there any 'unknown' tutorial sites I should include tutorials from? I'm looking for hidden gems

Some tutorials on nettuts are downright awful.
It would sometimes seem like people are writing tutorials just for the hell of it rather than writing about something they actually know something about.

Now, I'm not saying that all tutorials on nettuts are awful, just that a lot of them are.
Checking in on nettuts now, I see that a lot of things has gotten better but the problem is still there.

I love Nettuts. The jQuery video tutorials are helping me out and I'm watching the PHP ones at the minute and they seem pretty cool. I also love PSDTuts, some awesome stuff on there, and AETuts and VectorTuts ust for eye-candy. I can't do much of the stuff on there

W3schools.org is what taught me all the basics of XHTML/CSS/Javascript/AJAX etc...
I like PSDTuts and NetTuts a lot too.
But Pixel2Life has been an all-time fav.

I find a lot of useful Photoshop tutorials on good-tutorials.com.

Mine is always Youtube. I use advanced search to find what tutorial i want.

I kind thought myzelf illustrator with the great stuff at vectortuts.com and ofcourse nettuts is awsome as well!

I have to agree. I found them when they were a small startup and actually advertised on their site until their ad rates became too expensive for me!

Great look, feel, and tutorials from them though!
