Color Depth - Virtual Server - Photoshop

Postby bupaje » Tue Oct 06, 2009 3:45 pm

They are setting up some virtual servers using VMWare here at work. There has been talk of moving me and all my graphic apps to the virtual server which I will access from my desktop via terminal services. I note that the server desktop is 16 bit color depth. However I put some images on it and looking at it via my 32 bit monitor I am not sure if there is a difference. I'm confused. If my desktop is 32 bit am I still working on 32 bit if I access that remote desktop -even if it says that remote virtual server is 16 bit color depth?
