Adobe CS4

Postby Spyder » Mon Sep 29, 2008 3:15 pm

Is anyone using Adobe CS4? I am currently on CS3 and was curious as to what people thought and if it would be worth upgrading.

I'm going to pass on CS4 for now, only because CS3 does everything I need and more. Plus don't have the money for any more Adobe products.

I'm waiting for trial release. After trial test, i'll make my decision. Unfortunately, I'm not Adobe tester.
Maybe, someone knows, where can I download Adobe CS4 program pack?

The only upgrades I am actually looking forward to, is Flash CS4, Photoshop CS4 and After Effects CS4.

They've added some amazing looking features into the above mentioned products that it may be a worthwhile upgrade (especially since I'm still a student, which I better use soon since I'm almost done), but like Igor wrote, I too am waiting for the trial downloads to be available so I can test it out.

I'll be looking forward to Flash CS4 the most, apparently the whole approach to animation has been reworked. Should be interesting.

What I've heard about CS4 is that it'll do its calculations using the video card.

CS4 looks pretty good from the previews on Adobe's website. The new animation mode in Flash CS4 is great - no frame and keyframe crap. It also has a new skeleton-based animation system that is very interesting. I wonder how well the new features will work with the ActionScript...
