I agree with the others: I would love to see a designer portfolio/artist type of set. Would find this very useful! Thanks for all your awesomeness, SM! <3

Hey! You know.. I originally and still do.. work in the Trades/Construction areas of the workforce. Design and Development is actually more of a hobby for me. But either way, I gotta say when I get an idea to do a design for some of the companies I meet in my travels, it's really hard to come across any decent Construction Icon Sets!

I'm thinking, a mason's trowel, a carpenter's hammer, a power drill, hard hats, work boots, fork lifts and other tools of the trades! That would be great!

For me, a unique, professional CMS type icon set would be most useful. But, I guess I should pick a winning horse and go with the status/security type set with icons for login, logout, errors, success, bad password, ssl, etc. For these, I think personality is key. Much like the clever 404 pages out there, people don't want to feel punished for making a mistake. If you can give someone an error message and they chuckle, you win.

I'd like to see an icon set having to do with book clubs. Recommend a book, book forum, book review, etc..

Hi there. I've always looked for icons that displayed a pile of magazines and a pile of newspapers. Never found them, though.

I'd like to see a LEGO mini-fig social icon set. Or, anything using LEGO mini-figs. Just because they're cute and they have lots of character. :D

Thanks!

FREELANCER's ICONS :D

IMO, almost everybody here has been (or still is) through freelancing, so why not remind us of those good old days in a usable manner? ;)

I find the icon libraries (famfamfam, Fugue, Function, DrunkeyLove, Milky, etc) most useful because each icon can have several different uses. The intranets/extranets, CMSs, developed seem to need a lot of these types (login, email, tools, enlarge, add, comment). Granted, there are a lot of these free sets already but in my opinion, there can never be too many.

I'd like to see a set of icons for the blackberry. Although there are themes available, the lack of creativity is overwhelming. Lets see professional designers create icon sets for the Blackberry.

Some ground breaking, innovative e-commerce icons. For instance icons for shopping carts, payment methods, discounts etc.
Those available on the web all look the same.
