Which Editors do you use?

Hey Everyone,

There are a ton of different editors out there, so which do you use? I personally use jedit on my MBP and notepad++, rapidphp on my PC.

What others are there? and which do you prefer?

I am using Ultraedit for 6 years and I find it extremely flexible and useful - but I guess if you worked with some application for so long time, it somehow becomes flexible and useful.

According to our poll, many people use Notepad++.

I use Textmate for most of my editing, it's simple and very easy to use. Sometimes though I will go into CSSEdit if I only work on a single CSS file.

I use Notepad++ on Windows and GVIM on Linux. Most important is the quick starting of these programs and code highlighting. I'm good without autocomplete (OK, both N++ and GVIM has it, but with some key combination like alt+space), this way I'm a less lazy coder :ugeek:

I tend to use dreamweaver more than anything for starting the basic structure and code work, and i use notepad ++ for quick edits as the programme is much faster to load.

Textmate.

Nothing else. Dreamweaver. Might not be evil or a cheat. It's just messy as hell. How can you work in that!?! I don't get it at all.

I use Coda (mac only), because I'm lazy and coda saves me from typing certain things

I still use notepad - although I would love a light weight collaborative editor.
I have tried buzzword for a bit - beyond the nice looks, it still seems gimmicky.
