And so forth. I think I've again proven my point.
Anyway, I've grown tired of this thread and it has grown rather lengthy with pointless discussion.. so good luck with your article.

And yet again I think you are only talking BS. Did you even read the websites that you posted? They contain no information what so ever on the methods used, more than what you can find out from the original website that I posted.

*sigh*

Of course not. Software developer doesn't usually write an essay about HOW they write a software. They only present WHAT it is for. If you want to learn more about the TECHNIQUES then look those up, not the software itself.

I thought you were intelligent enough to deduce that but apparently not.

Now, I've had it with you and this thread. You shall receive no further advice because obviously you won't take it.

Please believe me when I say that I'm trying to be as polite as I can ...

a. Lay off the kid, he is just scouting for some info for his HS report.
b. Swearing and vulgar posts are supposedly not allowed on these forums.
c. Your goal on these forums appears to be the derision of others. Consider that it's possible for you to be helpful AND nice at the same time.

And I gave him advice which he decided not to take and instead complain about.

That's funny. If you would bother reviewing my post history you would notice I haven't expressed a single swear.

So I'm unhelpful and rude? So THAT's why my inbox is filled with thank-you notes. How could I've been so blind?!

Keep attacking that strawman you've conjured up.
