Sorry, my mistake. I put wrong keyword. The correct keyword is CSS 3 instead of web 3.0.

I think that web designer are keen to discover more about CSS 3 and its benefits. Comparision between CSS 2 and 3, advantages and disadvantages, etc...

Thanks

I think that was without a doubt one of the worst videos I've ever seen.

I guess you didn't understand the concept behind that video my friend.

Big organizations are working on this topics, supported by many universities around the globe.

I think that since you're speaking with an inherently tech-savvy crowd, that video may have been a bit beneath what most of us would like to see in reference to Web 3.0 All I got from it was that the primarily technology used to build the "Future Internet" will be adjectives.

I worry about any of this Web 3.0 talk. It's debatable what constitutes Web 2.0 as it is ... I think that it's often companies trying to appear on the bleeding edge with yet another marketing buzz word, or trying to neatly label what boils down to a natural and multifaceted evolution of the web.

In simple words it can be describe as blend of marketing and technology. I think in future everything including off-line software will transform into on-line application and they all will be connected with each other for user convenience.

Cheers!

Exactly.

I think it is you dear khurramalvi, who is lacking a little understanding. That video was total crap, full of meaningless buzzwords, dated statistics, and concepts that aren't in the slightest bit new or innovative.

For me web 3.0 is more so 'cloud based services' such as azure, mesh, OnLive (gaming) etc.

Micro formatting and tagging the web is a curious area. However i think perhaps this is something best reserved for HTML 5 where they can release a specific 'tagging' tag if you get my meaning.

Such as:

Code: Select all
<meta tags="business, internet, stuff" />

I would love to see RSS become a much stronger element of 3.0 design... websites without the website lol i really believe aggregation of content through RSS is the way to head with websites. People are so used to twitter now, perhaps RSS is their next mental step towards content gathering?

What I really wonder is what will be the next big thing for social networking after Facebook and Twitter.

I hope I'll be involved in on it!
